Careers

Glendale is actively looking to begin conversations with interested candidates for Solution Engineer positions opening in the 2027 calendar year. We’re preparing to build a larger team, and we’d rather start those conversations early.

Open positions.

Solution Engineer

Remote within Alberta, plus in-house with select clients · Full-time · Starting in 2027

Apply for this position

A Solution Engineer looks at how a business actually runs, finds the gaps in its workflow, and builds the software that closes them, to an enterprise standard. It takes an engineer’s command of code and infrastructure, and the judgment to turn a messy workflow into a streamlined system.

What you’ll bring.

AI-assisted development, mastered

Deep, hands-on command of AI-assisted tools, Claude Code and local models (such as Qwen 3.8 27B) above all: not just prompting them, but an in-depth knowledge of how to leverage everything they offer to build enterprise-grade software.

A working understanding of code

A general working understanding of code in several languages, such as TypeScript, SQL and Python, with Swift and Kotlin ahead for native iOS and Android apps, and C# for Windows and .NET integrations.

Workflow first

The ability to look at how a business runs, find the gaps, and bring everything below to a streamlined solution.

No gaps, ever

An uncompromising standard for finished work. Every build, ours or a client’s, is checked and checked again, with security, code organization and the structure of the codebase held to the same bar.

Infrastructure that fits

Git and GitHub, servers, and when a platform like DigitalOcean or Fly.io is the right home versus enterprise tenancy on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

UI and UX

A real grasp of interface and experience design: software people want to use, on a desk or on a phone in the field.

Agentic systems

Working knowledge of agentic protocols and agentic infrastructure, and where they belong in a real business.

Plain, confident communication

Clear conversations with a client’s staff and with our own team, from the owner to the crew.

Good to know.

A plus: industrial and energy services

A background in industrial or energy services is preferred. You’ll already know how the work moves, and the people you’ll build for.

Trained properly

Glendale is forming a Solution Engineer training program. For the right person, we’ll close the gaps with detailed, hands-on training.

Pay and growth

Compensation is discussed with each applicant. Glendale runs on an abundance mindset and truly invests in its people: competitive pay, and real room to grow, especially for those who believe in what we’re building.
